The Singapore Interior Design Awards (SIDA) 2025, organised by the Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS), returns for its 9th edition as a platform celebrating excellence in interior and spatial design. Open to professionals and students, SIDA 2025 calls for entries that push the boundaries of design through creativity, innovation, functionality, and meaningful impact.
Having grown into a globally recognised awards programme, SIDA 2025 continues to champion outstanding work across diverse sectors while fostering rich dialogue between Singapore’s design talent and the international community. This year’s edition centres on themes of design integrity, inclusive representation, and forward-thinking solutions, addressing urgent issues such as sustainability and evolving spatial needs.
This year’s awards features six categories honouring Singapore-based designers: Design Firm of the Year, Designer of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Design Educator of the Year, Design of the Year, and Young Designer of the Year.
To nurture emerging talent, SIDA 2025 also features a student-focused track. This includes the SIDA Youth Award for students enrolled in recognised institutions, along with awards for Best Use of Sustainable Materials and Best Cultural Narrative, celebrating environmentally responsible work and designs rooted in heritage and storytelling.
Winners will be selected by a distinguished international jury comprising top names in the industry, including Angela Spathonis (Gensler Singapore), Razvan Ghilic-Micu (Hassell Studio), Wong Ker How (Asolidplan), Ben Stevenson(Foster + Partners Hong Kong), and Sabine Seck (Hirsch Bedner Associates).
“SIDA isn’t just about rewarding beautiful interiors—it’s about recognising the thinking, responsibility, and cultural intelligence behind the design,” says Nithipong Subaneknan, Chairman of the SIDA 2025 Organising Committee. “By inviting global talent, we elevate the level of competition and, more importantly, inspire and challenge our local design community to push boundaries.”
Open to interior design practitioners, these categories reward outstanding completed projects.
