Located in the symbolic heart of South Korea's capital, the Seoul Mayor's Office has been reborn as a space where cultural heritage and modern governance harmonize. Delicate materials, layered textures, and traditional Korean architecture are reinterpreted with a sophisticated modern sensibility, creating a tranquil elegance that reflects the authority of leadership and the city's identity.  Designer Sangyoon Kim seamlessly incorporated elements of Korean traditional cultural heritage into the space, including willow-inspired standing lights, furniture, and wall finishes created in collaboration with dyeing artisans.
