Algedra unveils a bespoke apartment interior design in Armani Residences, Burj Khalifa. The design features organic lines, smart joinery, and gold finishes to establish a serene atmosphere in the center of the city.

Project Overview

Algedra completed this distinct interior design and fit-out project at the Armani Residences, Burj Khalifa. The concept harmonizes with the iconic status of the building. The team focused on a "Soft Modernism" aesthetic, using curved forms and a neutral palette to establish a calm environment. Every detail works to maximize the perception of space and light within the apartment.

The Lounge and Social Zone

The primary social area focuses on relaxation and visual fluidity. A curved velvet sofa in a soft taupe shade sits alongside rounded armchairs, creating an inviting layout. A coffee table with black marble surfaces and geometric gold frames anchors the room.

A bespoke metal wall installation acts as the artistic centerpiece. This piece features textured gold discs on a branching structure, capturing ambient light and adding dimension to the wall. Sheer floor-to-ceiling curtains dress the windows, allowing soft, diffused daylight to fill the room while maintaining privacy.

Dining and Concealed Kitchen

The dining space continues the elegant theme with a round white marble table on a sculptural dark base. Dark wood chairs with upholstered seats provide a supportive setting for meals. A chandelier made of interlocking gold rings hangs above, offering warm illumination.

The kitchen area demonstrates smart spatial planning. A bi-fold door system allows the entire workspace to vanish behind sleek grey joinery when idle. Opening the doors reveals a fully equipped culinary zone with under-cabinet lighting. This design choice keeps the main room looking pristine and organized.

Material Palette and Illumination

The material selection prioritizes texture and visual warmth. Pale polished timber flooring connects the various zones. Wall panels feature a subtle geometric relief pattern, adding depth to the vertical surfaces. Dark wood veneers on the media unit provide a grounding contrast, while gold and brass accents on the furniture inject brightness.

The lighting strategy uses layers to set the mood. Decorative chandeliers provide general brightness, while floor lamps offer softer, localized light. LED strips hidden within the joinery highlight the architectural features and create a cozy evening ambiance.
