ARCHIDEX: Asia’s Leading Architecture and Design Exhibition

May 9, 2025

ARCHIDEX, Asia’s premier architecture and design exhibition, returns in 2025. Organised by Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) and C.I.S Network, the event will be hosted at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from 21–24 July and at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from 23–26 July.

This dual-venue format reflects ARCHIDEX’s bold vision for growth and innovation. With a 40% increase in floor space, the exhibition will now span over 36,700 square metres, bringing together nearly 1,000 exhibitors and an estimated 56,000 visitors from 110 countries.

ARCHIDEX 2025 will feature several zones and programmes aimed at highlighting the future of architecture, interior design, building technologies, and sustainable development:

  • World of Works (WOW): A first in Southeast Asia, WOW is a real-life simulation of future-forward workspaces, featuring green design elements, smart technologies, ergonomic layouts, and solutions for hybrid collaboration.

  • FENESTEX: The ASEAN Fenestration and Technology Exhibition returns to spotlight cutting-edge systems and materials for windows, doors, facades, and glass—supporting energy efficiency and high-performance buildings.

  • Malaysia-China Customised Furniture Zone: This curated section focuses on custom interior and fit-out solutions, strengthening trade ties between the two nations while catering to the growing demand for tailored furniture.

  • PAM Pavilion: In collaboration with the Malaysian Timber Council, this space showcases the use of sustainable Malaysian timber in architecture, reinforcing the event’s emphasis on environmental stewardship.

In conjunction with ARCHIDEX 2025, key summits and programmes will enhance the professional value of the event:

  • ASEAN Real Estate Summit (AREC) 2025 at KLCC will tackle themes around sustainable urban development, resilient infrastructure, and regional housing needs.

  • Kuala Lumpur Architecture Week 2025, part of the larger Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF), positions ARCHIDEX as a central player in championing the capital’s vision of a future-ready, inclusive, and vibrant urban landscape.
